EVENTS ON SATURDAY 12th FEBRUARY
Grasshoppers Festival 2022 runs from
January 24th – March 1st
Music with Rebecca Gilbert
Saturday 12th Feb. 10am – 10:30am
Come along and enjoy a 30 minute music session for families with young children. Sing, shake and dance your way through some favourite songs and have loads of fun.
One ticket is a family pod of children and carers. All attendees over 18 are asked to wear a face covering or mask during the session. Max 6 people per pod including children and babies
WAAW with Joeri Wens 1
Saturday 12th Feb. 11am – 11:30am
For all the family.
Waaw (Wonder and Awe) is a series of magical musical moments with Belgian artist Joeri Wens. A first time experience for very young children and their carers together. A non verbal concert of wonder and awe.
One ticket is a family pod of children and carers.
Max 6 people per pod including children and babies

Dance with Rachel Dean
Saturday 12th Feb. 11:45am – 12:15pm
For children aged 2-4 and their carers.
Come along and enjoy a 30 minute dance session for families with young children. This session is via big-screen zoom with Grasshoppers facilitators also attending in person.
One ticket is a family pod of children and carers. All members of the pod must be named and each pod must give contact details. Max 6 people per pod including children and babies
Build A Giant Grasshopper
Saturday 12th Feb. 10am – 1pm – ongoing.
NO TICKET REQUIRED
This event is for the whole family to enjoy. Come and join artist Akvile as she makes a giant grasshopper in the outdoor amphitheatre at the IIMS. Families are welcome to join in at any time.
Event runs from 10 am to 1 pm.

Calendula Welly Boots
Saturday 12th Feb. 10am – 1pm – ongoing
NO TICKET REQUIRED
This event is for the whole family to enjoy. Come and join Anne as we plant seeds in our lovely donated old welly boots. Outdoors at the IIMS. Families are welcome to join in at any time.
